About Clough Family
Please sign in to see more. The Clough family has a rich heritage from the Cloughs who came to New York from Yorkshire, England, to the Friedles who came to New York City in 1811 from Germany to establish a thriving artifical flower factory, to the Bennetts and Creans who trace their heritage to the Magna Carta Barons, to the Terretts who were prominent in Connecticut and New York City, to the Rikers who were descendants of the patriarch for whom the island in Manhattan is named, to the Kellys who came from Charleston SC to establish the community of Woodside Queens, NY, and to the Crandalls who stem from a long line of baptist ministers in Canada and the US. I am indebted to Gene Cole Zubrinsky and Ann Corum for their exhaustive efforts on the Terrett and Kelly families.
